Turning professional in 1987 he worked his
way up from the Northern club circuit eventually to
perform in front of Her Majesty the Queen on the Royal
variety Performance in 1995. His huge following of
fans pays testimony to his reputation
as a brilliant live performer which led him to
tour with Abba tribute super group Bjorn Again. Touring
nationally for Britain's leading promoters SJM Concerts
and DF Concerts in 1999 -2000 when he played the
Birmingham NEC and Glasgow SNCC arena. In 2005
his Elvis tribute DVD "The Promised Land" won
worldwide acclaim further cementing him as one of the
all time great Elvis tribute artists from
the UK.
On August 9th 2008 he promoted the
World's Greatest Elvis Tribute Artiste concert at the
Bolton Arena. It is a concert recognised
throughout the world as the greatest Elvis tribute
concert since August 16th 1977 starring Shawn Klush
and featuring several other world leading ETA's
along with Elvis Presley's original band members the
Sweet Inspirations and DJ Fontana.
Although still performing, since that
time Steve has earned himself the reputation
of promoting some of the best Elvis shows ever seen in
the UK with headliners from the USA such
as, Shawn Klush, Justin Shandor and the legendary
Doug Church.
Steve is also the manager of Chris
Connor the UK's outstanding ETA and just
recently Nick Hayne of the Michael Jackson
Experience another outstanding tribute act and one to
watch out for.
Chris Connor under Steve's guidence has rapidly
risen through the Elvis Tribute world at a rate
that can only be discribed as breath taking.
Within months of joining Steve and the team at Elite
Tributes he was performing in the World's Greatest
Elvis Tribute concerts with Elvis Presley's orignal
backing singers the Sweet Inspirations headined by
Shawn Klush (USA) winner of the Worlds Greatest Elvis
BBC show. The same year he was crowned Images of
the King European Champion and is currently
touring theatres in the show "Seeing is
Believing" A Tribute to Elvis.
After only 18 months after joining Elite
Tributes, Steve was delighted to announce that Chris
will be represented in the United States by Ambassador
Inc. USA, part of the Daniel Lentino Managenment
group.
